Arrival Story:
We found him as a young cat when we lived in Las Vegas. He went to live with my son as company for their cat. When our second grandson was born we found out the baby was extremely allergic to cat hair and Peanut moved up here to our new house in Utah where he has the run of the garage, the garage apartment and outside. He LOVES being outdoors. Follows my husband everywhere. He is really a great ranch hand. Always in the middle of any project. He is a joy to have around!! And he is quite the watch cat. The neighbor came over with his yellow lab and Peanut chased the poor dog smacking her in the face the whole time until the dog finally jumped up on the neighbor's ATV to get away from the cat. He is NOT afraid of dogs and boy! our dogs are scared of him. Everyone that sees him wants him....he has quite the reputation up here.....April 10 2015: Peanut was put to sleep this morning. He had slowly deteriorated but still walked the property though he had lost a lot of weight ....the light had gone out of his eyes...and the light has gone from our hearts. He was the once in a lifetime cat. Always happy to see people and interact with everyone and everything. There will forever be a hole in our hearts.

He has formed a special bond with Callie, our calico female. They adore each other and have play time outside in the afternoons. He and Jeremy are learning to tolerate one another. At first things were kind of nasty but as the months have gone by they are beginning to accept one another. Jeremy is hard to please in his old age so poor Peanut has had to really try to be good with Jeremy. Tigger and he have an understanding which is you stay away from me and I will stay away from you. They walk circles around each other.
