My Tail of Devotion for Maddie

Maddie, you were the last kitten we adopted...we weren't even looking for another cat but there you were that day we met at the SPCA...you were in the room where they had all the big cats in cages and you were just wandering around...someone must have left you there by mistake...you were so tiny...and cute..I picked you up and held you and you fell fast asleep in my arms..I looked up at Daddy and said..."Just one more won't hurt".....So we brought you home to meet the others..at first they didn't seem to want to accept you...you were so small and then the day after we brought you home they all started to love you as we did already..
But you were never one to be held much or affectionate as the others...you had a way about you...somewhat of a loner...I think you were scared and just wanted to be loved but weren't sure how to go about showing us that...
Your coat was very pretty and soft and you had those big beautiful eyes...that didn't miss anything..
Even now you are cautious about being held..but you have come a long way in that department...
You get along well with your brother and sisters...but not the dog yet..
You are the last cat we will adopt and we want you to never forget how special you are in our hearts..
Our home would not be the same without you there..
We love you precious one...
