Arrival Story:
Rusty was adopted from FOAP (Friends of Abandoned Pets) from his foster mom, June on 25 May 1995. We were told he had been found abandoned in a downtown apartment.
Around early December 2005, he started losing ALOT of weight but gaining weight in his abdomen and he began to take on the shape of 'Barney the dinosaur'...we waited until after Christmas in early January to take him to Dr.Fischler since he didn't appear to be in any pain or uncomfortable. We were told that he had some kind of stomach cancer and because of his age, we didn't want to put him through any kind of treatment that was unlikely to make a big difference in his life, so we had him euthanized before he became in any worse condition.
