Sophie was adopted from our family veterinarion, Dr. Dorit Fischler in summer 2004. She was the the most 'bad' of the litter of kittens that were there for adoption. They had been strays living at the Carp Road Landfill/dump near Stittsville, Ontario, Canada and were staying in the back room of the Crossing Bridge Veterinary Clinic, looking for homes. Demon (original name was "Sophie") was Dr.Fischler's favorite of the litter and she had tried to take her home, but couldn't handle her 'badness' so she was back at the clinic looking for a family who would find her 'Demonic' ways adorable! She got the name Demon originally by climbing the Christmas tree repeatedly, so she was the "Christmas Demon"...
