Arrival Story:
She hung around my grandma's house for a long time and when my mom went there to see her she fell in love with Martha and brought her home. We had her for a couple weeks then found out she was due to have six kittens! We kept two of the kittens and gave the rest away to good homes. When we first got Martha she hated outside, everytime we would go out or come back in she would run and hide because she thought we would throw her out and never take her back in, she was a stray in my grandma's neighborhood for at least a year, and didn't want to be a stray again. But after a few months she became used to our house and she knewthat we were going to keep her. Now we let her out about once a day, but she doesn't like to be out that long. Martha was really huge when we got her, because she was pregnant, and she only got a tiny bit skinnier after she gave birth, but she has stayed about the same since. It has become her trademark; We sing the batman thyme song but instead of 'batman' we say 'fatgirl'! Martha just loves it!! (not really)
Bio:
Martha doesn't meow. Ever since we got her she has never meowed once. Some times she tries to and a small squeak comes out instead. She still purrs though. She also licks you or anything around her whenever you scratch next to her tail, but we don't know why! Martha is very shy, and if you approch her she will run away. She has to decide on her own to come to you, and when she does she is so sweet, she just settles down purring and rubbing against you!
