Arrival Story:
My co-worker sent an email saying she found a little gray striped kitten in her backyard. He was very small and very friendly. I couldn't stand the thought that he would be left outside as Fall and Winter were coming, so I took him home TEMPORARILY. I figured I would foster him, but that was in September of 2005 and he's still here!! When I got him his eyes were still blue and he was about 2 lbs, the vet approximated his age at 4 weeks old, we think he wheened himself to survive.
Bio:
Miller is named after the beer. When I first found him, I didn't want to take him to the vet in my other cat's carrier, in case he had some illness...so, my husband grabbed the only other box we had in the house....a case of Miller Lite. We took him to the vet and they got the biggest kick out of the box he was in. At that time, Miller was actually going by the name "Milo" because he had the perfect "M" on his forehead between his eyes. The next time we went to the vet, they all remembered him coming in that beer case, and we decided, Miller was a much better name.

It's the strangest thing...the one pet in our house that loves people so much that he cannot go without human attention for 2 hours and sleeps in our daughters' bed is the same kitty that turns into a demon cat when going to the vet! He has a warning label on his chart...he tries to bite, scratch, and hiss. The noises he makes are none I've never heard a cat make before. The poor guy gets a bad reputation, but he's so sweet and lovable...don't know what we'd do without him!
