Maestey was adopted on 18 November 2002 from L.A.W.S. (Lanark Animal Welfare Society) in Smiths Falls/Perth area, Ontario. L.A.W.S. is a no-kill shelter associated with the Ontario SPCA. His shelter name was "Cosmo" and he was known at the shelter as being "the tormenter" to the other cats (whomever was sharing a crate with him).
Bio:
He's a stray from a shelter, which basically makes him a mixed-breed, but he very closely resembles a Nebelung and he has the tail of an American Ringtail aka. "Ring-Tail-Sing-A-Ling", but his tail curls like a Samoyed or Spitz-type dog.
