Mommy's just started making videos and uploading them. MOL , she tried to get me to be really cute and talk but I didn't do it! But, my Mommy sure talked and she sounds so funny MOL

Weight Watcher Kitty

Hi everyone. I know it's been a long time. Lots of stuff going on and Mommy's working hard to make sure we get done what we need to get done. I can't give any details 'cause it's a secret. Ooops, I might have said to much.

Anyway, Mommy's putting me on a diet. I'm really big and all I do is lay around and sleep. Playing is hard for me so I just swat at things as they pass by. Mommy wants to make sure I stay healthy and she's afraid I'll get diabetes if I don't get my weight down. I think I weight 20 pounds but Mommy will weigh me the day before I start my diet.

Mommy is going to start giving me 1/2 can of Wellness Chicken Canned Food in the morning and 1/2 can at night. She's also going to add some Missing Link to my new food. It's supposed to be good. She's been talking to Nemo's staff and Zipper's Mom so she's got good info.

I'm nervous about the diet because I only eat dry food and my Mommy puts it down for me and I can eat it whenever I want. On the diet, my food won't stay down all the time. ::SIGH:: I know I need to lose weight but I'm not so sure I'm gonna like this.

Zipper is my weight loss buddy so we'll help each other through the tough spots.

My Mommy and My Kitty Friends

Hi everyone. Mommy's been hurting alot for so long. I try to take care of her but I can only do so much.

Phoebe probably already told you that we cut back on our clubs 'cause we just can't go out that much with our kitty friends.

I love getting pmail and I love my kitty friends.

I hope, with the less clubs to keep up with Mommy won't feel so overwhelmed and she'll be able to let us play a bit.

She did move my food and litter pan stuff out onto the upstairs landing. I think she's trying to slowly move my stuff back with Phoebe's. We've been trying to get along so I might have to share stuff with Phoebes again. I don't know if I'm ready for that. But my Mommy knows best.

My Mom and Me

My Mom and Me we hang out on the second floor. That's what she calls it. I call it my Veranda. I love hanging out and keeping watch to make sure my sister, Phoebe, stays away.

I think she's been sneaking up here cause it's starting to smell like her. Must get Mom to get the big sucking machine out. That should make Phoebe's stinkiness go away. MOL

I'm just hangin' on my Veranda making sure my Mom is doing OK. She's been a handful lately and is really keeping me busy. But I love my Mom and she loves me and together we'll be just fine.

Don't forget, my veranda is always open. I love visitors and usually have some catnip julep in the cooler.

Look What My Sister Got!!!

I know Phoebe really bugs me but sometimes she does some pretty cool stuff. She gave me a copy of this so I could post it for you guys. It's a piece of mail our Mom got in email. Phoebe swooped in and snagged because it's about kitties and we have to make sure only the right kind of information is being sent to our Mom.

I read it and I have to admit it made me feel all warm and funny inside. Is that a good thing? What do you think?

THE KITTEN IN MY CAT


My cat has grown very old,
Now she mostly sleeps and naps,
But there still remains and is engrained,
A little kitten in my cat.
She never leaves the house, of course,
She's secure and safe inside,
But she can't ignore an open door,
Which leads to the outside.
She often sits and stares through it,
And one just never knows,
What secret spirit moves her,
If out the door, she goes.
How come this burst of energy?
What makes her move like that?
Ah yes, I guess, there really is
A bit of kitten in my cat.
And then she has this yellow thing,
Which is now a bunch of fuzz,
It used to be a toy duck,
At least, I think that's what it was.
I'd like to throw the thing away,
I don't, because she plays with it,
She tucks it underneath the couch,
Then struts away from it.
Then I get down upon the floor,
To find out where it's at,
Irritated, I cuss and fuss
At that danged kitten in my cat.
She never has outgrown
Her penchant for doorways,
She stretches lengthwise 'cross them,
And may lay that way for days.
How many times in the dark of night,
Have I nearly broke my neck,
When across my bedroom door she lies,
As I am bathroom bent?
If I fall over her, she yowls,
Like an injured maniac,
Yet I'm the one in mortal pain,
Thanks to that kitten in my cat.
I'd think by now she'd have learned somehow,
About the mirrored wardrobe door,
That the image which she's sees in it
Is not a cat competitor.
No need to hiss and spit at it,
Or even arch her spine,
Though it may howl and growl at her,
That old cat in there's benign.
I don't think she's getting senile,
No matter how she acts,
I know, though now she's up in years,
There's still some kitten in mycat.
Sometimes in the evenings,
When I turn the TV on,
I settle down in my big chair,
And soon begin to yawn.
Just as I am dozing off,
There comes a tapping at my knee,
I look down, and there's the cat
Gazing up at me.
Now so old, she can't jump up,
I lift her gently to my lap,
She curls up and goes to sleep,
How I love the kitten in my cat.

Hi my kitty friends.

I am sorry I've been away so long but you know I can't use the 'puter when Mom's not here.

Well, she's been here but really busy and upset all at once. My sister beat me to it so you can read about that in Phoebe's Diary.

For me life is good. My veranda is peaceful and I'm trying to behave.

Mom's keeping an eye on my litter pan habits but I think she believes I'm OK. I think I'm OK too.

I'll try to talk Mom into letting us check our mail and stuff. We miss you guys.

For now, I must nap.

Eavesdropping On Mom

Uh oh, I think I'm in trouble. I heard my Mom talking about me last night.

I noticed she's been really keeping an eye on my litter pan the last couple of days. Now I know why. She's thinking I don't use my pan enough. I eat and drink just fine but I only use my pan about once every 12 hours.

Mom thinks my kidneys might be having a problem and that might explain the weight I carry. Yes, I am a big girl but I get 3/4 cup of food a day and no treats or people food.

I think I feel OK. I play, love life on my Veranda and give my Mom kisses and headbutts when she comes home from work.

I'm nervous. I think I'll have to go see my Doc. Oh, I hope not.

I'll have to go ask the other Tabbies about this.

I must lie down, this is all too much to handle.

New Toy From My Sister

Hi everyone. Life on the Veranda is good and I know some of you have been peeping at me. That's OK 'cause I like the attention.

I got a new toy today. Well, it was my sister's toy but she doesn't play with it. My Mom brought it up to me and I wiped my face all over it so now it's mine, all mine.

I like my Veranda and I don't really go down stairs too often. Only when I want to bother my sister. I did that yesterday and now I feel bad.

My sister's eye is all icky and she doesn't feel good. I didn't know and I went downstairs to pick on her and I saw it. I feel sad that I was naughty but I didn't know her eye was icky.

I'll try and be a good kitty for few days.

Wow, my mom put a camera upstairs on "my veranda." It's pretty cool. I love staying upstairs on the veranda. I can look down on everyone and keep an eye out. I don't let my sister come up here very often. So this camera is for me all me.
