Quick Bio:

Black and White

Eliza loves to be with her family, above all other things. She loves her round, plastic scratching toy with the rolling ball in it (not sure of the name); she loves to eat (I cannot stress this enough); she loves to bat at things, such as string.

She, unfortunately, dislikes our other cat, Lizel. The feeling appears to be mutual.

Favorite Toy:
Eliza enjoys the afore-mentioned plastic scratching toy; she enjoys batting and picking at wires (not such a good idea); she loves balls and catnip toys.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Eliza will and can sleep anywhere. She prefers to nap on the large chair in the living room during the day.

Favorite Food:
Eliza would eat just about anything put in front of her. She has quite the appetite.

For a cat who is almost completely blind, Eliza gets by just fine. She can see shadows, we believe, and has developed her other senses very well. She can find something that we've hidden from her without being able to see it. She's also solar-powered.

Arrival Story:
Our father found Eliza shivering in the snow outside of his work one day in the dead of Winter. Someone had apparently left her, he thought. She was very sick at first, and coughed and sneezed almost constantly. She was not a kitten, but quite young (a 'teenager', probably). We nursed her back to health the best we could and now she's as happy as if that had never happened to her.

Again, Eliza adores people; she follows us around all the time, always wanting to know what we are doing and wanting to be a part of it. She is almost dog-like in the way that she focuses so completely on the people around her. If told to sit, she will often do so. She has a way of cuddling up to the ones she loves and staring at them with such adoration, it is nearly overwhelming. She is a wonderful cat.
