i still remember when my mom brought freckles home for me when i was in kindergarten. she was in a big brown cardboard box and i was so excited to see the little kitten inside! my mom said that she was walking by the petstore and this one little cat walked right up to the glass and my mom decided to get her for my sister and me. the frist night we had freckles i was sad because i didn't think she liked me, but that night she slept curled up under my chin and we have been best buddies ever since. she came to us with a broken tail, but my sister was 1 at the time and would always try to pick her up by the tail and actually straightened it out! i've had freckles now for 17 years. . . got her when i started school and now i'm graduating from college! she has been with me for almost all of the important moments of my life and is 4 years older than my youngest sister! Freckles is known as the Attack Cat because she is not always very friendly to strangers/anyone that isn't me. But she loves me and always takes care of me. And if I am upset or having a bad day she will follow me around and try to comfort me :)
Bio:
Freckles has had a very amazing life. Sometimes my family jokes that she died a long time ago and it is just her ghost that is hanging around the house because she has used up so many of her 9 lives. When we got Freckles she tested positive for feline leukimia, but the next time we took her to the vet she didn't have it anymore. Then, we were living in Florida and she ate a poisonous lizard called a blue tailed skink, the poison in its tail causes severe neurological damage and freckles couldn't walk or eat for a month she was so sick the vet said there was no way she would make it...but she did! Then she had two liters of kittens, 11 in all, before we got her spayed. Now she has a quirky personality that I love...
