Diary of an Attack Kitty

I’ve been traumatized!

Mom and Dad went to a family reunion with past weekend. Instead of taking us with them, (except for Friend Lea, she gets to do everything!) they put us in jail for the weekend! Can you believe that? Then today when Dad went to pick us up, the boy there told lies about me.. He told Dad that is was real mean. He said that I would meow in my jail cell and they would come to check on me then I would go wild and try and attack them….. Its lies.. all lies I tell you.. And our Old Vet’s people told the exact same lie on me too when I had to stay at their jail one time! I think they are all in cahoots against me..

I’ve been totally traumatized by this whole weekend. I’ve been so traumatized that when Mom came home from work, I let her hug and kiss me for a long-long time and I didn't even bite her.. I even met her at the door and jumped up on it like a dawg! THAT’S how traumatized I am!!!

I think I should get Double treats for the rest of my life!!!!!

A Delicious Cake Recipe.. MOL

Hi every kitty. I have found a delicious recipe that I'm sure all your Moms will want to make. It is an honest to goodness edible cake for your humans. My Mom is going to take it to a halloween party that she and dad are going to. I added the picture of it so you can see the finished product. Heres how it goes..

Kitty Litter Cake

1 box spice or German chocolate cake mix
1 box of white cake mix
1 package white sandwich cookies
1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
A few drops green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent
(Wait. What is the equivalent of a Tootsie Roll?)

1 NEW cat-litter box
1 NEW cat-litter box liner
1 NEW pooper scooper

1) Prepare and bake cake mixes, according to directions, in any size pan. Prepare pudding and chill. Crumble cookies in small batches in blender or food processor. Add a few drops of green food coloring to 1 cup of cookie crumbs. Mix with a fork or shake in a jar. Set aside.

2) When cakes are at room temperature, crumble them into a large bowl. Toss with half of the remaining cookie crumbs and enough pudding to make the mixture moist but not soggy. Place liner in litter box and pour in mixture.

3) Unwrap 3 Tootsie Rolls (or their equivalent?) and heat in a microwave until soft and pliable. Shape the blunt ends into slightly curved points. Repeat with three more rolls. Bury the rolls decoratively in the cake mixture. Sprinkle remaining white cookie crumbs over the mixture, then scatter green crumbs lightly over top.

4) Heat 5 more Tootsie Rolls until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with crumbs from the litter box. Heat the remaining Tootsie Roll until pliable and hang it over the edge of the box. Place box on a sheet of newspaper and serve with scooper.

Looks delicious.. don't it?? MOL Enjoy!

What I've Learned

Stoves are HOT! Mom told me not to jump on the stove but I didn't listen. So, while her back was turned.. I jumped up there.. She was right! It was HOT! Luckily, I high-tailed it back off there in about a second so I didn't get burned. I'll think twice about jumping up on the stove again I can tell you that!

PS: I attacked my scratchin' post and now its broke.. **Sigh**
