My brofur is really showing his age now. He is very thin. He has hardly eaten anything for several days. He is drinking water, but barely touching food. The vet has given him fluids, and Mum is taking him down again tonight for more fluids, but our vet doesn't think he will be with us for much longer.

He can still jump on the bed, and is still sleeping every night curled up in Mum's arms as he has done for most of the last 17-odd years since he came to live with us. He purrs and snuggles, and is taking his pills, but sometimes clenches his teeth and turns his head away. Mum is torn as to whether to make him take them or just leave him in peace.

We know, that at 19 he has had a long and happy life, but we still hope for a miracle so he can spend a little longer with us.

We send our purrs to your clowder and Allie. it is always difficult to know when it is time for us furs to begin our next journey..but I believe Allie will tell you when it is time for him..My Mamma sends yours a hug..
May The Mother Cat hold Alie close and comfort your clowder..
