Arrival Story: I had just lost Lousy Rotten to lymphoma on Friday, March 24. My husband saw an online want ad for a cat who needed a home that weekend, or he would have to go to the pound. I always get female cats (prefer spayed), short hair, and I have never had a declawed cat in my life. This big guy is, of course, male, has long fur, and is four paw declawed! Well, he needed a home, and I had one to give. So here he is!
Bio: Buddy is a bossy cat. He is very vocal. He will meow until you do what he wants (play, watch him eat, brush him). If you are sitting in a chair, he will reach up and tap you with his paw! He is so big, he actually taps you on your shoulder!

I've Been On Catster Since:
I'm an adopted cat, so my Mom doesn't know a whole lot about me (other than the fact I am handsome, charming, and BIG). My mom got this book of cat breeds. And she got all excited, because she found a breed of cat that looks like me (all white with a big fur neck ruff) called a Turkish Angora. Well, they are a lot smaller than me, but it looks like I am at least part Angora (Mom says the other part is probably something like Maine Coon or gorilla...)
I'm adjusting pretty good...I got the snotty little pug under control. Boy, she spoils that little dog! Well, I took over one of the beds, and I can sleep next to her...she is kinda old and doesn't bug me too much.
But that puppy, Chelu! Man oh man! She runs around, tossing toys here, there, everywhere! She even tries to sniff my private places! I have to go upstairs and hide in grandma's room when Chelu is out and about. Luckily, Dad takes her to his computer room a lot, and then I have the whole house to myself (well, the pug is around, but I got her under control).
