The day started off perfectly when my sister brought a small brown bird into the house through the kitty door this morning and let it loose in the den. It was alive and well, and I was helping her to corner the little critter when one of the humans screamed for the other, and the next thing I knew I was being chased into the bedroom. Jasmine was locked in the bathroom, and the bird was rescued and set free.

I just know we're going to be the laughingstock of the birdbath tomorrow morning. How humiliating!
