Arrival Story:
We adopted Tuna in August 2004 from Town Cats, a no-kill shelter south of San Jose. She was a feral who had been there for over a year, so the only way to catch her was to guide her into the bathroom with the laser pointer. She was incredibly shy and scared for a long time, but she's finally starting to feel comfortable roaming the house. Her primary residence is now at the top of the 7 foot cat tower rather than under the bed. She likes women much more than men. She's nearly 5 years old now, but still plays like a kitten.

Bio:
Tuna was a feral barn cat for a year, had a litter of kittens and was picked up by Town Cats in 2003. She is a social cat in that she likes to be near people and hang out where the action is, but she's still shy about being petted.
