Arrival Story:
Zeke was 4 years old when I adopted him after seeing his picture on a local shelter's Web site. In the photo, he looked like a fluffy little gray and white kitty - just what I wanted. Imagine my surprise when the cat I met was an enormous furball with brownish markings and huge blue eyes. I was enchanted. He was tentative, but decided a home was better than a cage and moved in.
Bio:
Besides playing with his feather toys, chasing shadows and watching the squirrels, birds and bunnies that wander into our yard, Zeke spends his time moving area rugs from room to room. He has a fine eye for interior decorating. Zeke also loves to cook and often pulls all the pots and pans out of the cabinets and sits among them. I'm sure he's planning elaborate gourmet meals that he'd cook for me if only I'd buy the ingredients and let him use the stove unsupervised. He loves big band music and especially enjoys listening to Rosemary Clooney.
He occasionally goes out into our back yard, which has a nice tall privacy fence, but only when Mom can go out with him to supervise. I had landscaping put in for him - lots of flowers and leafy plants where Zeke can be king of his own little jungle.
