Hi Friends and Happy March....
It's been busy here for the past few weeks and I'm doing pretty good. My Auntie from Florida visited with us. It's always nice when she visits cause she never comes empty handed and brought us some cute catnip toys and treats, she said she'll be visiting us again in the near future. I hope she sends us some Florida sunshine too. In other news, Mom was concerned about the recent wellness food recall. She checked the cans and they were all affected. Mom has returned all the food and thought it was a good time for me to have my 6 month health exam. They did the normal blood work and also checked the thiamine/Vitamin B1 level for any deficiency. We won't have those results back for about three weeks. In the meantime I'm taking a B1 supplement. I'm also happy too because my blood pressure was within the normal range. Thanks Catster and Hazel Lucy for keeping us informed. Mom said it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, we Thank Hazel Lucy too...even though we don't eat that type food. She always keeps us all enformed.
Hope you Blood work comes back ok. Glad your blood pressure is within the normal range.

Sorry you had the recalled lot(s) of Wellness. There was another food that had a recall because of thiamine some time back. Glad your mom got you over to the vet's office too just to be safe. Hope your bloodwork comes back okay.

Are you ok from the wellness recall? No bad reactions? My mommy only has the pouches of wellness but she is kind of nervous right now about it all the same. I hope you guys are all good.

Hi Friends..Thanks so much for your response, I sure hope the food didn't effect me because I really liked the turkey and chicken. Why are they always messing with our food? Grrr

River..We also have the wellness pouches and so far ours were ok, the only bad reaction I had was I had been throwing up some of my food but that also could have been a furball, we don't know for sure because we don't know how long I've been eating the effected food. Hope your all doing well, this really makes us nervous!
