Arrival Story:
We had visitied a pet shelter with about 100 cats. We looked around for a while and for some reason she caught our eye. Shadow (who was called Dana by the shelter) was extremely shy, but she did let us reach in the cage to pet her. She was so pretty and small, we fell in love on the spot. She fought the shelter worker who tried to put her in our carrier with all her might. She did not make a sound all the way home and hid for a few days before coming out to become a part of our family.

Bio:
Shadow had never lived in a home before ours. She was born in a shed and was brought in at 5 months to the shelter where she lived in a cage with her brother Darren. They were very close and both were very shy, so they had to be adopted together. They discovered Darren had a liver problem when they were almost one year old and he passed away. The shelter said that shadow was very sad and became even more shy. We just figure she was waiting for us, so she never let anyone else who was interested in her anywhere near her.
