Arrival Story:
He was a stray cat outside of my mother's house. He was skinny and flea infested. He loved me and I loved him - we both needed each other.

Sammy is wonderful. He is such a calming and comforting cat. I can just hold him and pet him for hours. At night he always sleeps right next to me on my pillow. Unfortunately, Sammy was diagnosed with cancer in January. He had a fibrosarcoma on his neck area. He had surgery and completed four weeks of radiation treatment. He currently has no side effects (besides hair loss at the radiation site) and he is back to his old self.

You are my perfect little boy. You are so sweet. I love you so much. When you were diagnosed with cancer, I cried so hard and you comforted me. You are so cuddly and lovable. I am so happy that you have had no side effects to the radiation treatment. I pray each day that your cancer does not come back. I cannot lose you yet. You need many more happy years after being abandoned when you were young. You know that you are safe now and you don't have to worry about when you will get your next meal. I will always take good care of you and spoil you. You deserve it.
