Arrival Story:
I was sitting on my porch during the summer my daughter was getting ready to leave for college - I had another cat outdoors that I fed and the food was there on the porch when out of nowhere a possum came up to eat and Pooter's was right behind it - she still had blue eyes and was tiny - she was living with this possum! After many nights of waiting for her to show up she finally started to warm up to me - letting me hold her and sit in my lap - finally brave enough to come into the house - she became mine and never turned back!

Bio:
Pooter's got her name by having terrible gas when she first started showing up! She was on a bad diet eating whatever the possum let her and adult catfood - once she got regulated on kitten food the gas went away - but the name didn't and now she has Pooter's Pond I named her after!

Well - it's really been a strange day - first of all Meowmy was home again today so I got to go outside = again!!? She is getting over a bad case of bronchitis and can't go back to work yet - that works for me. Out of the blue - a package is placed in front of me and I find out it's from Jason Hopper - thanks Jas! (Mom took a pic of it and it's on my main page)! Mom and I listened to both CD's this afternoon and liked them a lot! But even more - very sad news has come later that Little Noel from Shiloh's family passed to rainbow bridge - I'm furry sad for them and really sad for Vip because I know he loves and takes good care of his sisfurs. I love you Vip and wish you and your family didn't have to endure the pain of losing a loved one - especially so young - we love you and your family and are purring tonight over your loss. I would also like to purr for Norman and Wanda's family who just lost Harvey last week. Harvey's passing wasn't expected either and they are very sad right now. All of you are in my thoughts and purrs. Hugs to all my Catster furriends - Pooter's

I can't believe it's really here - where I live - it's always cold or hot - never in between - this is the short time of year that I just love - it doesn't get over 80 and stays above 45 -at least for a few stray nights that get really cold - for now I can totally enjoy and deal with that. There is never a better day than sun and birds to enjoy basking in the wonderful life we have on this earth - life is good - OK - where did that crazy bug just fly off to - gotta get back to huntin good furriends! Those are the birds my Grandad loved best - he had a really nice home set up for them while Mom grew up. All he talked about were the Purple Martins!! I guess that's why my page has all the birds flying about - Mom is remembering how much my Grandad loved them and always took care of them every Spring and Summer. Truly, Purple Martins are hard to get to come live with you - Mom still hasn't been able to do it and she has a Purple Martin house set up out back for a few years now - they have never chosen to make it their home - but she has had other really neat birds visit and even stay in her Purple Martin house!! I want to wish all my furriends a very Happy Easter!! Hector, if you read this, I really purr you and family are safe - I saw about the horrible story about Binghamton NY - I'm just floored and am purring hard until I hear from you. Thanks for letting Mom and I reflect a little and get back to a regular daily life! LOTS of Nose Rubs - Pooter's
