She got her name as she was found as a stray around Christmas time. "Whitesocks" is what we called her because of her white paws; until we found out what her 'real' name was.

December 25, 2011 I will be 20 years old!!
(Actually, Mommy believes my birthday is sometime in late September/October as I was found right around Christmas time) but the Teen (who is also now 20) insisted we celebrate on Christmas Day.
So, how will my family celebrate my day? BY LEAVING ME HOME ALONE AND IGNORING ME!!! They are going to Mommy's Mom's house for Christmas dinner and I will be left home alone.
So I will sleep, meow, sleep some more, wash, get a drink of water and sleep some more. Sounds like a full day for me.

Hi everybody! I'm still hanging in here. Sleeping a lot, occasionally will wake up to bug Mommy for treats and water. I prefer to drink my water with someone holding my water bowl over the sink for me. NO - I am not spoiled! ;)
I sleep every night with Daddy. Once he wakes up, I have breakfast and then go back to the bedroom to sleep with Mommy. When she gets up, I usually get some treats and then nap until late afternoon.
Then I get some more treats, meditate for a while under the lamp, until Daddy comes home.
It's a rough life.
