to play with my human and pounce on my toys when I re-find them. Anything that is round and tossable

I'm above this sort of thing... well, how about my human needs to pay more attention to me?

Favorite Toy:
My human... followed by my human using my "fishing" rod for me to run back and forth with

Favorite Nap Spot:
at night, my human lets me sleep in her pajama drawer, then there's a box of papers on the table...

Favorite Food:
Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul - It's yummy (and inexpensive, which is what Mommy likes)

I'm pretty good at fetching, pouncing and holding down windowsills

Arrival Story:
Terra was born to a wild mother where I worked at a soil/compost facility where I worked in the office. My bosses were not too happy when Terra took up residence under the office back steps. Terra took one look at me, meowed rather loudly and I answered her with, "and what flavor do you want?" Yes, I went and got kitten food that day and by the end of the week, my bosses said it was either I take her or she'd go to the shelter. They trapped her and gave her to me. Thanks to Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County, I got some help in getting Terra spayed and adjusted to home. Actually Terra adjusted even more quickly than usual and was out and about within another week in my little home. I think she knew she wanted to be an inside kitty from the very beginning

On the day before she would have been with me a year, Terra went AWOL. I would like to believe she went to someone who needed her more and was not killed by accident.

OK, here's the scoop.... I've gone MIA for almost two weeks.
I haven't seen my human since Wednesday, Oct 18, 2006, the day before I'd have been with my human a whole year.
My human had just gotten me a beautiful, bright red harness to wear with a noisy name-tag, which I was wearing when I wandered.
My human is very sad right now and is a little distracted from her regular routine.
For cats, and their humans, that live in Santa Rosa. I live in the area between South 'E' street and Brookwood, below Sonoma Avenue. There is a lovely creek there, where I've caught a few lizards, but apparently there are signs posted saying my human can't go down to see if I'm there, legally... and there are scary looking homeless men hanging around, too....

Happy Birthday To Me!

It's my Birthday! And I'm in a fiesty mood today. I woke my mom up nice and early to let me go outside, but she growled at me. I don't understand, the sun was coming up and I wanted to go outside. She said something about it being too early, something like it was not even 6am (whatever that means!). She said we would go out at our regular time of after 7. I just don't understand my human some times; if I'm awake, she should be too, right?
Anyway, my vet visited me yesterday. Yep, I have a vet that does house calls! No going to strange places for me! I had to have 3 shots, but I'm brave and made it thru. My vet, Dr. Corvin, was impressed with my calmness. It was the nail clipping afterwards that kind of got to me a little... trimming my defenses... sheesh, silly humans! (Mom says it's for her safety... her skin isn't as tough as my beautiful fur covered body she says.)
Now that I have my first entry, I think I'll try and write some more. This isn't so hard! Oh, yeah, Mom uploaded some new pictures of me. My newest, coolest picture she made the main one. I'm wearing my cool, black harness and I'm outside, in a tree! (I only get to go outside supervised, on a leash, but at least I get to go outside!)
