Playing, getting into trouble, causing trouble, beating up our other cat Stuie. He loves to watch water run down drains. He likes our dog Stella most of all.

Being petted, not having food in his dish, Stuie ignoring him.

Favorite Toy:
Laser light, super balls, toilet paper, Stuie, anything he can bat around on the floor after he knocks it off of something.

Favorite Nap Spot:
When he sleeps? On the kitty pillow on the living room floor or on the shelf right under the bedroom window.

Favorite Food:
Anything. This cat will eat anything. Really. If I had to pick a favorite it would be either milk or wet dog food. He loves his friend Stella's food.

Skills? Yeah... he's bad. he's up to no good right now. I guarantee it.

Arrival Story:
Cletus = bad. Period. I love him. Cletus was found by my former boss rummaging around the dumpster behind the restaurant that I used to work at. Knowing that I had been thinking about getting my other cat Stu a playmate, my boss (a huge animal lover who probably would have taken him home) quickly introduced me to him. Next thing you know the whole staff was outside making friends with this little, purring and loveable black kitty. One co-worker quickly came up with his name and it stuck. He was so tiny and so cute. He was SO friendly.... and then I brought him home. All was fine for about 2 days. He was a good little boy. Loving, curious... desperate to make friends with Stu & our dog who has since passed on, Bud. Once that was taken care of it all went down hill. I love this cat. Cletus is BAD. He is into everything. Look at the pics. He has more energy than you can imagine. He doesn't want you to pet him, he wants you to wrestle him until he shreds your wrists & bites your ankles until they bleed. He wants to run, run, run. We are on the 2nd floor, and it is not uncommon for him to run from the bottom of the front hallway steps all the way up - through the house - down the back hallway steps & into the basement.... repeatedly. If you are going down the stairs you had better be careful because he is going to race you down and likely to get right under your feet on the way. I had to put a bell on his collar because he is always into SOMETHING & I prefer to know where he is. He beats the crap out of Stuie, every day. It's definitely a love/hate relationship for Stu. He loves having Cletus around, but thinks he is a huge pain in the butt & wishes Cletus would just leave him alone for a little while. Stuie cant even walk to the litter box without getting tackled. Cletus eats anything. You can tell he was a dumpster cat. He eats any kind of vegetable - lettuce, spinach, olives, tomatoes, corn, chick peas.. all of em'. He LOVES dairy products, of course. If there is meat involved, he is known to growl while he eats it. He also has to kill anything before he eats it... yes - even the olives. I cannot cook anything without him being in the way. Cletus has more toys than you can imagine. If he doesn't feel like playing with any of them, he will make a new toy out of whatever he feels like. He shreds toilet paper from one end of the house to the other... and growls while he does it. By the time he is done with a roll of tp it looks like it has snowed inside the house. He is not affectionate. He will let you pet him occasionally, but it's rare and only on his head. Also, he prefers to have a towel over his head while you pet him... he's just weird. He attacks doors, violently. He growls at people when he sees them out of the window or even hears them. He's just not right. He's totally dysfunctional, not very bright, a huge pest and I love him to bits.

Cletus does have some good traits. He's good entertainment, and he has a good heart. When it storms our dog Bud used to get totally freaked out & Cletus would try everything he could to comfort him. He does the same for me when he knows I am upset about something... and he always seems to know. He may not show it much, but he appreciates the home he was given and he loves us too... in a very evil way.
