Arrival Story:
I used to work for the City of LA animal shelter. She came in as a stray with 2 of her siblings. I took her home to Foster her until she's big enough to adopt out. And to protect her from contracting an upper respitory infection. We have fallen in love with her and we adopted her when she was 2lbs. Lily adores Princess Mia and Oliver loves her too. They play constantly unless they are sleeping.
Bio:
Lily was adopted out through the Glendale Humane Society. I finally agreed to put her in the window at the pet store I work at. I hestitated for a couple months about finding a new home for her. She is the sweetest kitty. I was so worried about who would get her. It is very hard to give away something you love so much. Within an hour someone fell in love with her. She went home to a very nice lady that had just lost her kitty 3 weeks ago to Kidney failure. I am so relieved that she went home to such a wonderful person to care for her for a long time to come. Although since she adopted her she has called the pet store wanting to know why she keeps suckling her arm. We told her that Lily was taken away from her Mommy too soon and now she thinks you're her Mommy and its her way of bonding with her new Mommy.
