I knew a friend's cat was pregnant but he didn't. I heard "Mew! Mew! Mew!" coming from his underwear drawer. I opened it up and saw Fuzzy with a tricolour tabby kitten still wet and in the birth sac. It looked like a piece of licorice Black Jack candy in the wrapper. I said, "There's a grey one! I get dibs on the grey one! His name is Licorice!"
I always knew that this is what I would say to Licorice when he was going to the Bridge. I did, and he purred as always. He's with Larkspurr and Tayer and Lima now. He's meeting my other pets and comparing notes!
Bio:
He has only been outside twice, taking a few steps on the porch. Licorice stays 3 feet away from the outside doors or mommy says, 'No way, Jose!'
