Arrival Story:
I was born into a family of barn kitties, and the humans didn't want any more mouths to feed. So one day when I was only four weeks old, the man human put me and my brothers and sisters into a box and took us up to this store for the day. There was some kind of event taking place, which was good because it was our last chance to find homes before the humans took us to a shelter. Any way, things weren't looking so good because no one could see us down in the box where the man human decided to sit. But this lady kept walking by and something about her just made me want to go home with her. So whenever she walked by, I would jump out and wrap myself around her leg. Funny though, she wouldn't even look at me as she pried me off andput me into the box until the 6th time or so. Then she finally scratched me between the ears. So I peeked out of the box and I saw this other lady talking to her and laughing and pointing over at us, but the leg lady just kept shaking her head no. Well, it got late in the day and I didn't have a home. But all of a sudden the laughing lady came over with another box and put me in it, and then put me in the leg lady's car! The leg lady got into her car and I was so excited I started scratching at the box, and the leg lady opens the box, and pulls me out, looking all confused. She picks me up and takes me into the store and starts talking to the laughing lady and saying she can't possibly take me home. The laughing lady talked her into it though, on a "trial basis" or at least to find a home for me. What?!?!?!? But Leg Lady took me home. It was a two hour drive and I curled up on her lap and slept the entire time. When we got to her house the first thing she did was give me a bath with some stinky sudsy stuff. I didn't like that too much, but I sure felt better afterward...not so itchy, and those little black things weren't crawling all over me. Later that night when we went to bed, I curled up on her pillow next to her head. Later on Leg Lady, who had become Mommy, told me that the reason she hadn't wanted to bring me home was because the day before we met, her sweet Oz kitty had died, and Mommy just had a terrible time getting over it. She was sad for a long time, but she told me that I helped her because I was so sweet. She says I was her second heart when her own was broken. And she has repaid me by turning me from a barn kitty into a princess!!

Hi everyone!!!! **waves and blows kisses**
All is took to get us back here was...you guessed it: CAKE!!!! MOLMOLMOL
Some of our friends sent us some yummy cake gifties last week, and here we are!!! You can't keep us away from the snackies.
We sure hope everyone has been having a wonderful summer! Things have been very busy at our house. Mommy went on the rescue, and brought in one of our ferals, and her three kittens. She already found a home for one of the kittens. Now she needs to find homes for the other kittens and the mama, because I want my playroom back!!!
We sure miss everyone here. I know that mommy stays in touch with a lot of your humans on "that other site" when she has some free moments here and there form work, but it's not the same for us. **wipes tears** I want to come back and play and go to pawties!!!
Anyway, we hope you all know that we love you and still think about you all the time!!
**whispers** Send more cake. Maybe then mommy will feel guilty enough to share the typy a little more! MOL

Well, I don't have to tell you that it's been a cat's nine lives since we've been around. Hmph!! **gives mommy the evilest stink eye**
And of course I'm going to have to give you the same spiel about how mommy's j-o-b consumes most of her time, and how Catster runs verrrry slowwwwwww on our typy masheen. But still.....
How is everyone? What have I missed...I mean, other than EVERYTHING?!?!?!? **darts a look back at mommy**
We love living in Jaw-Juh! We have lots of running space around our house, I have lots of hidey spots away from the stoopid boys and the Ugly Kitties, and our daddy is the bestest thing in the world. Well, other than the color pink, sparkly things, and Hello Kitty.
We love all of our friends here, and we miss you terribly!!! Please say that you haven't forgotten us? **wipes tear** I think I'm going to go eat a whole gallon of nip ice creamy now.
