SORRY!

I have some news and I never posted it since Mommy's been back. Of course, I was glad to see her and for the first week, I was coming into her bedroom and standing along side of her bed for a visit and to get some ear scritches.

My brothers are being okay to me lately except they are all using my new litter box. They got three of their own and still want to use mine. It ticks me off. Mommy says I can use their litter boxes anytime I'd care to. Of course, I'm afraid to do that because they may jump me.

Auntie Mary has been very kind to Mommy in helping her with groceries and laundry. Rick, next door, even helps with the trash and getting her some groceries too.

Anyway, Ms. Peggy treated me very well and gave me some stuff called "Nutri-Cal". I like the stuff. It's brown and comes in a tube, and Mommy lets me lick it off her finger.

Lastly, Mommy's still off work until further notice which more than likely will be decided on June 4th. The ortho will check her knee; range of motion, incision and possibly x-ray it again. She hopes he'll tell her she can go back to work that week as she's getting tired of laying around. Also, she has to see if the pain she's still in will subside some more. As of this moment, it hurts for her to walk or stand or sit for long periods of time. If she goes back to work soon, she'll need a special pillow for her low back; it's hurting because the new knee has everything aligned differently in her body.

Anyway, I got to run. Have a pawsome Memorial Day weekend, everycat!

Also, Mommy will be home some time tomorrow. They have also ordered a walker for her to take home with her. Auntie Mary will be bringing her home and also to the ortho so he can remove the staples. She can't wait until those are removed as they get in the way of her getting a better range of motion.

Birthday Girl

Today I'm 20 years young! TU HQ for B'Day wIshes!

It's raining on my special day too! Much rather it be sunny. Also, I'm doing great with Ms. Peggy. She's given me a lot of grooming sessions & I feel pretty.

Lastly, I'm not sure when Mommy will back home. She's still in PT.

DO YOU HAVE A KITTY BULLY IN YOUR HOUSE?

We most definitely do have a kitty bully in the house and that's none other than LANDY!! He always bullies me and I don't know why! Is it 'cause I'm the only girl in the house! He wrestles with his brothers too and it's not that he's bullying them. He wants to play.

Is this his way of wanting to play with me? I don't think so as he is too rough with me and that's all the characteristics of a bully. He even swats me in the butt when I walk away from him. Not good, not good at all!!

So all in all, I truly believe that Landy is the kitty bully in our house. He's also a big time trouble maker. Who else has a kitty in their house that can turn on a stove burner and steal Mommy's bra, to name a few of his antics.

If there was a vote for this kitty bully thing, I think Landy would win it paws down!

'nuff said.

NAIL TRIM HORRORS!

I got my nails trimmed yesterday, and boy oh boy, did I hate that! My screeches brought Landy to my side. Good grief, he's not my nurse!!!

I'm glad it's over with for some time. My nails are very hard to trim as I'm an older cat, and older cats' nails are thick and curl under and if not trimmed, they'll start cutting into the paw pads. Mommy got them before they could cut into my pads. That part is good though. Still I hate it when she trims my nails! She had to make a "kitty burrito" out of me (wrapping me in a towel so I couldn't kick and scratch her). Anyway, I still managed to wriggle myself out of the towel burrito and scratch her once. She didn't get mad at me though as she understood how I felt about going through this horrid nail trim process.

Lastly, whoever left that runny poopie in the hallway, put some more in my litterbox. It's not me!!! I think it's Sampy as he stole some of my food and that's what he gets for doing so! Maybe that'll teach him not to steal my food!

There, I vented. Now I can take a nice nap without having any nightmares!

OLD CAT FUR

Mommy says I have "old cat fur". I say, is that something like "old human hair"?

She says my fur is stiff and waxy and full of dandruff, and she'd like to know what product of dry shampoo or wipes that'll make my crowning glory shine and be pretty again. She combs me every day or every other day, more so than my brothers 'cause my fur "clumps" as if it had clumping litter mixed in.

Ohhhhh, the dandruff is thick along my lower back. She uses a flea comb to get rid of most of it.

Anyway, that's about it on my fur issues.

Also, spring is almost here. In fact, we spring forward early Sunday morning. That means it'll be getting darker later on. To me it doesn't mean much as I don't go outside anymore and am too arthritic to jump into any cat trees or windowsills.

Mommy left the hallway window open on Thursday, as it went up to the mid 70's. I could feel the breezes blowing around the corner and into my bathroom.

I just got a box of chocolates from my sweetie JECKYL. He wished me a happy belated Valentine's Day! Thank you Jeckyl for these yummy candies! I'm not sharing with my bros either, nom-nom, nom, all for me!

Also, Merl came into the bathroom this morning and jumped in the tub. He jumped out, looked at me, uttered a little squeak and walked out. Merl's such a gentlecat. He never bothers me. Second thought, I'll let him have a piece of my candy!

I hope everycat had a pawsome Valentine's Day. And, thank you ZOEY for the lovely rose!
