BIRTHDAY

I had a birthday on May 1st. If I were on earth, I would have been 21 years young!

I'm sorry I'm late at writing and thanking everycat. Mommy had the flu last week and is feeling better now.

I thank my following earth friends and angels for their lovely gifts and birthday wishes:

I understand that Jocelyn Mae is growing up and is a super girl around the house. She keeps the boys in line; quite unlike me. Joss is a very aggressive and extroverted girl. She is also loving to Sampy. I peeked in and saw her wash him before.

Anyway, I'm going to keep it short and be on my way . . .

ANGELIC PURRS FOR ALL IN THE PATH OF SANDY

I just peeked down at earth and saw the horrific monster storm, Hurricane Sandy, blowing through the northern and eastern parts of the United States.

Me and all the angels are purring and praying for our family and other Catster families and other families elsewhere who are in Sandy's path to be safe.

I understand it has weakened a bit and they're calling it a Post-Tropical storm instead of a hurricane now. Still the winds are not any less. I don't understand this.

Lastly, I see that Jocelyn Mae is turning into a lovely young ladycat! She gotten her new top fangs too!

Well, here comes a big pile of angel dust headed everyone's way!

WOO-HOO, DIARY PICK NO. 2!

Wowza, as my brothers say! I'm one of the Diary Picks today! This is my second Diary Pick from the Bridge! Again, I thank the Diary Gal for choosing me!

I also thank my pawsome friends for their kind gifts and concats:

Also, Jocelyn Mae is an extraordinary young girl! I chose the right one for Mommy and my family. She is ruling as the new "Queen" of the house. She knows just how to deal with Landy; I thought he was a bully toward me. Toward Joss, they are equal. She and he volley playtime swings at each other. She never backs down from him like I used to. She litterally "rolls with the punches". He swats her and she swats back; likewise with wrestling and chasing each other. She fast and a Ninja kitty!! She has some wild footing moves which I never had even when I was a young one.

Well, I understand there will be another party at the Bridge in honor of my Diary Pick. I must go now as it can't start without me!

When Mommy picked up my ashes a couple of weeks ago, there was a poem enclosed:

"Farewell, Master, yet not farewell,

Also, Mommy received several beautiful gifts from her FB and Catster friends such as a lovely beaded necklace with a kitty face pendant that resembles me; a lovely tiled picture of me, Isis, Bentley, Max and Jasmine Bibette; an angel that looks like me; a lovely card with Mommy's and my friends condolences; and a check. Mommy cried when she saw such beauty and caring that her/our friends have put together in this package. We are all so grateful to have such caring and loving friends.

Lastly, I see that little Jocelyn Mae is not little anymore. She's growing every day. All of us think she is a Maine Coon.

Well, I must be on my way.

MY GIFT FROM ABOVE

Jocelyn Mae is my gift from above;

I've looked in from time to time and love how soon she is bonding with her/my brothers. It is truly a great feeling and less stress on Mommy to know that Joss is geting along great.

Also, I notice Mommy changed my background to look like that on our angel Max's page. There are real places like this at the Bridge and the waterfalls are so beautiful! A lot of us angel kitties love to bathe in this nice water and sit on the rocks and watch the fish swim by. You see, cats aren't afraid of water at the Bridge. This is also one of my favorite places to hang out.

Note to Sampy: I miss you dearest Sampy and you were my favorite brother! I've met up with angel Bentley and he misses you and will be waiting for you when your time comes as I will too.

Also, I've met Angel Buddie who's been at the Bridge for several years. He's giving me a tour of the place and introducing me to more angels whom I've not known before.

There is never a dull moment at the Bridge. We feel love all the time and get along greatly. The weather is always like warm spring days; never hot nor cold.

I understand it's the second day of fall where I used to live. It was very windy last night and a lot of acorns blew off the big oak tree in the backyard. This morning there are a lot of squirrels gathering up these acorns.

Anyway, I'm going to fly back to my waterfall area and take a nice dip in the water and then take a sunbath on one of the rocks.

IT'S BEEN A WEEK

I've been at the Bridge for one week today. I understand there's a lot of Catsters and my own family who love and miss me. I thank each and everyone for your lovely gifts and condolences. It means a lot to me, Mommy and my brothers.

Mommy gets to pick up my ashes on Thursday and she will put them next to those of Bentley; his are in a little hermetically sealed wooden box. Mommy's not sure what my urn will look like.

Anyway, I'm getting along great with my original Mommy who looks much younger than she did when she passed on. Also, of course, I get to visit and party with all the Bridge angels.

LOVELY POEMS

Yesterday, Mommy received a few lovely poems from Lady and her Daddy, Greg. Mommy's favorite one is listed below:

A Cat's Prayer

To Those Who Love & Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go-
I have so many things to see and do.

Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.

I hope everycat enjoys this poem. It's sad and it is so true. I was loved and gave love in return and my memories are within Mommy's heart and those of my surviving brothers. I will wait for my second Mommy even though I am with my first Mommy now. I love them both for taking care of me throughout my 20 years.

Lastly, I met up with our angel Jasmine Bibette and she and I get along great! I remember on earth when she came to visit one day, I chased her up the stairs. Soon Jasmine got bigger and chased me up the stairs. I suppose she was getting even with me because of her size. Now, we are the best of friends! We play and it's all in fun and not territorial disputes!

Well, I must go to another party! We party all the time at the Bridge, believe it!!!

I'M AN ANGEL NOW

As everycat knows, I had a dental appointment this morning. The surgery went well and as the anesthesia started to wear off, something went wrong with my heart. They tried to revive me and I came around for a bit and then I journeyed to the Bridge . . . I awoke to see many kitty angels with glowing fur gathered about me; Calvin, Rocky Ann, Spunky, Milo, and many others. And then Colleen approached me. She was lovely and her gray fur sparkled too. She had made her journey a day before me. We talked and then joined the others for a party which had already started.

The selection of food was unbelievable; chicken, salmon, turkey and oh yes, ice cream. It was all good as my teeth are now pearly white and my mouth no longer had a dull ache to it. Also, my short and curly old lady whiskers had become long again and my fur too had a sparkle to it. I had become young and beautiful with long white wings!

I miss Mommy a lot. I also miss my brothers even though some of them got on my nerves. I'm certain they miss me as I looked through the veil and saw them searching upstairs for me.

I also, miss my boyfriend, Jeckyl. We've been going together for several years and he's been so kind to me all along. I know his Mommy will comfort him during this time.

Later on, while the party was still going on, I saw my first Mommy approach me. I was so excited that I ran to her and jumped into her arms. She held me close and stroked my head. She told me that we've been reunited to never be apart again while she pointed to the sky where there were many white castle-like houses surrounded by white fluffy clouds.

The weather was warm, not hot, and the grass was the most lovely shade of green; nothing like the green on earth; and there were flowers of every color you could imagine. Birds sung from the tree tops and butterflies of rainbow colors fluttered about. So this was heaven, the place they call the Rainbow Bridge. This is my new home now and I am finally released from the pains of old age and at peace.

I also note that I've received many gifts from my most pawsome earth friends and angels too. I thank each and everyone of you and so does Mommy. You've all been so kind to me and I love each and everyone of you! Mommy also feels this and is grateful to have such loving and caring friends.

ORAL SURGERY

Today is the day that I get dropped off at the vet's to have several teeth removed. Thank goodness it's not my fangs as they are pretty good for an older girl cat.

I've been fasting since 8:00 last night so I'm hungry as a bear right now. Fasting is truly a bummer. At least, I'm allowed water.

I'm scared and can't wait until this is all over with. Also, my blood work and heart are fine so this oral surgery can be done.
