Arrival Story:
We rescued Shady from the Humane Society. He shared a cage with his sister. She was adopted by another family on the same day. He was 8 weeks old and very cute. He was a Christmas gift for our daughter, Emily who talked us into getting a cat. We were not "cat people", and we already had two dogs. He has turned out to be a great addition to our family, and gets along well with our dog, Eleanor, and tries to bother our other dog, Macy, as much as he can, and makes it look like he didn't do a thing.

Bio:
He gave us quite a scare when we first got him. He became very sick after his first check up at the vet. He had his blood drawn from his leg, and it got infected. He came close to not making it, but he pulled through after taking some strong antibiotics, and getting lots of love from his family.
