Kitty Complexion:
sleepyvery active
not curiousvery curious
not vocalvery vocal

Quick Bio:
-part feral-cat rescue

Flowers -- yum!!! Anything to chew on -- I think my father was a dog!

When Lilly (my sister) sleeps in MY bed!!! When people say I am fat! (I am just big boned!)

Favorite Toy:
Plastic loops and spongy balls

Favorite Nap Spot:
On Mommy and Daddy's bed -- I blend in with the pillows so nicely!

Favorite Food:
Eukanuba dry food -- I'm pretty fussy about the wet stuff. Some Fancy Feast flavors are okay, but ...

I am a great jumper despite my size -- when my dad takes me in the garden I am quick to jump the fence into the neighbor's yard. It is so much fun to watch Dad climb a ladder over the fence to retrieve me!

Arrival Story:
Dashiell and his sister Lillian came to live with us when they were four weeks old. We adopted them three months after we lost our 15-year old Ferdie to liver failure. Dashy and Lil had been born in a park in Oakland, California. A friend of our vets watches out for the feral kitties there and saw that their mother had been hit by a car. There were three kittens (one more brother), and they were barely a week old. He brought the kittens to our vet who nursed them along with bottle feedings and called to tell us about them. We immediately fell in love but had to wait until Lilly weighed one pound for us to bring them home. Their brother went to another loving home -- two kittens were a handful as is!

Dear Friends -- Mommy thought she would be able to send each and every one of you a personal thank you for your rosies and messages of support when I crossed The Bridge. It's just proven too difficult for her to do, so please know that your rosies and thoughts have brought great comfort to my family. The tears still flow in abundance, Lilly is meowing around the bedroom looking for me, and everyone in the family is missing me. The care and concern of our dear friends on CATSTER are sustaining them. Thank you. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated beyond words.

Goodbye My Dear CATSTER Friends. I went peacefully to The Rainbow Bridge in Mommy's arms at 1:15pdt today. The tumor was large (7cm by 4cm, and there were at least two other tumors inside the spleen. The doctor termed the cancer "aggressive." While removing my spleen was an option it wasn't a guarantee the cancer hadn't already spread somewhere else.
Please keep up all the fun we had together, and smile when you think of me. It was a good life, really! I will look down on you all and laugh at your antics, cry with you when you're sad and always be your friend.

Just heard from Dr. Hunter. The results, as expected, came back "metastatic melanoma." She is fairly confident that the fairest thing to do is to let me cross The Rainbow Bridge tomorrow. But she is also encouraging Mommy and Daddy to take me to the oncologist tomorrow (we have a 9:30 appointment) to confirm in their minds that that and not surgery followed by chemo is the best thing to do.
Thank you for your love and support. My CATSTER friends mean everything to me. Mommy will let you know what the decision is tomorrow
