Back from the vet...

Mommy took me to see the doc today. I've had a bit of congestion, plus I needed a check up for all my medical problems. Now, in addition to having a heart murmur, hyperthiroid and kidney disease, I've got hypertension! Well, who wouldn't be tense with all the poking, proding and pilling!! They also took some blood and are waiting to see what else they can find wrong with me.

Unfortunately, the doc also found a lump in my hard palate. She thinks maybe it could be part of, if not THE reason for the congestion. Now I have to go to the vet school to get a cat scan and a scope in my nose!!

Mom was shown how to give me sub-q fluids today too. So she'll start doing that 3 times s a week. Hissssss. At least Mom got a lesson today, before she just did it similarly to how she gave Tiger his insulin. It pinched every time!! A couple times she went all the way through and the fluid came out the other side!! Now she knows, and hopefully it won't sting as much.

I'm off to nap in the sun and dream away the pesky vet visit.
