Quick Bio:

Silver Tabby

Sleeping in shoe boxes, playing in the fountain, drinking shower water (!), watching TV

Not getting enough treats, being touched when she doesn't want to be touched, going outdoors (because that usually means a trip to the v-e-t)

Favorite Toy:
Her favorite purple mouse, the fuzzy red mouse on stick, anything with catnip, paper balls, boxes

Favorite Nap Spot:
Tucked comfortably under the covers, especially if it's a New York Rangers polar fleece throw...

Favorite Food:
A stew of several organic and natural foods, Whisker Lickin's treats, steak, chicken, shrimp, salmon, anything you are having for dinner.

Flattening herself against the floor to avoid being touched, jumping onto the kitchen counter (a new trick we're trying to stop), sitting up on her hind legs like a meerkat, and the amazing ability to know when you are making the bed from another room

Arrival Story:
Izzy was my birthday present,we adopted her and brought her home on my birthday as a very small kitten. My sister saw her at the pet store adoption fair first and guarded the cage she was in until I could get there. I believe she actually committed several moving screens to keep people away because she knew this cat was meant to be ours. Izzy's initial name was Peanut, but she doesn't really look like a Peanut, so we renamed her Izzy. She was immediately at home the moment I set her down in the house. She now rules the house...

I'm the runt of a runt litter and my mother was feral. Me and my litter mates were saved and fostered until adoption. I was so tiny that when the people at the shelter were counting me and my brothers and sisters in the box, they missed me because everyone else was lying on top of me. I was the last of my litter to be adopted, my sister Paris was taken just before my mommie found me. When I was being fostered, the only place I felt comfortable was in a shoe box, and I still like to sleep in shoe boxes, even if they're from small shoes. I got a really nice kitty bed for Christmas last year, but my mommie had to put a shoe box in it so I'd sleep there... I'm not a real touchy-feely kitty, but when someone in my family doesn't feel well, I like to lay with them to help them feel better. I'm a lot like a dog (even though I'm not real fond of dogs, I just tolerate my cousin Gracie...) because I'll wait at the door when I know my mommie or my aunt are coming home, and I like to follow them around the house, right on their heels. Oh, and I'm named after British comedian Eddie Izzard.
