I too miss Cam even though she and I never bonded. We always looked at each other from a distance. She growled at me a few times and I sometimes hissed and walked away. I never attacked nor bullied her. I gave the girlcat respect.
Still, I do miss her. She was originally Mommy's Mom's cat since 1993 and when "Grandma" passed away in 2005, Mommy became her new Mommy. I got to meet Cam in 2006 when I was a kitten and even then I never messed with her.
All in all, Cam was a decent cat and very old. I know she had a great life and lived it to the fullest. Mommy thinks Cam was holding a secret and never told any of us. Since Cam became an indoors cat in 2008, she chose to stay in the bathroom corner near the heating/AC vent. Until this year a little after Mommy came back from her knee surgery, Cam started to come out of her shell and be more sociable. She even started a partial bond with Sampy.
About 1 1/2 months ago, she started sleeping in the hallway next to our water/dry food court. A few weeks ago, she chose to sleep and hang out between Mommy's bed and the end table.
I'm speculating Cam knew that her time was drawing near and she wanted to be closer to us and Mommy. Her secret was big and even the vet could not find anything wrong with her blood panel nor her heart, and Mommy and he thought she would make it through the oral surgery.
Anyway, she is now at the Bridge as everycat knows. God gave her a full life of 20 years old! That's the longest living cat that we ever had in our family next to Isis who made it to 16 years old.
So I end my blog with "I miss you Cam, and I know you're in good hands at the Bridge and with your first Mommy and all our angels and a lot of Catster angels; Colleen, Violet, Calvin, Rocky Ann, Milo, Mercedes and many others".
Purrs & Breeps to all,

Cammie sure lived a nice long life with two great Mommies - it doesn't get any better than that. I'm glad that she felt comfortable enough to do some exploring and spend more time with your Mommy before she journeyed. She will always watch over you!
She'll be well looked after at the brdige.
