Arrival Story:
I came up to the steps of the apartment mom and dad lived at the time. I could fit in mom's hand and my eyes were still pretty blue. I had a big scab under my chin where mom thinks someone threw my out of a car. Not planning on keeping me, they didn't really try to name me, so dad keep calling me Little Dips**t (I think you get the idea) Well, no home was found, so they ended up calling me Dippy for short. After I had a litter of kittens, mom went and had me fixed ( I know, little late, but that's another story on my son's page, Bubba); that is when mom found out that I had my jaw broken from being tossed out of the car. She always said my mouth looked funny, and I would never really let her look at it.

Bio:
Dippy is no longer with us, but she stole both my husband's and my heart the moment we saw her. Even though we weren't allowed to have pets, we took her in and gave her a good loving home. She was a real lovey dovey cat until she had a litter. After that, she pretty much came to you when she wanted you to pet her. In fact, if she did something wrong, I would tap her on the nose and tell her NO. She would turn right around and box me back. Very head strong. We still miss her to this day. We have her buried in the backyard with a little statue that looks just like her on top of the grave.
