Arrival Story:
Mouse and her brother were living off scraps of food in an apartment complex that I moved to. Her brother, the more outgoing and adventurous one, went out prowling around one day and, sadly, got hit by a car. My dad, who lived nearby and took care of my dog while I was at work, took pity on her and brought her to live with himself and Moishe, who became Mouse's best friend. They now live with us.
Mouse died July 16, 2007, after coming down with a mysterious illness. She was a real trouper right up till the end, purring constantly and using all her might to get around, despite not being able to use her back legs. It was very sad and we all miss her.
Bio:
As my dad used to say, Mouse is "hard to know." But getting to know her is definitely worth the effort, because she's very sweet.
