Moving Update

We are pretty much all moved in now. I guess it isn't a bad place. It is bigger than where we used to live and has stairs which are kind of fun to go up & down. There are windows to look out and I've seen birds, squirrels and people. I guess I'm getting used to it but I think I liked the old place better. There have been a lot of people going in & out of this house and I haven't liked that at all. Sometimes Mom shut us in her bedroom, she said it's because people are moving things and she doesn't want us to get out. That actually isn't so bad. Her room has stuff in it that I'm used to and smells familiar. I just curl up under the blanket and sleep and forget about all this moving stuff. Our old apartment had rugs on the floor that I could scratch. There aren't any here & I don't like that. Mom did buy a nice chair the other day though that is perfect for scratching. I already have one desk chair so I don't know why she bought me another one but I sure appreciate it! I've (well actually Mom) posted some pictures of me in my new house and one of me scratching my new chair. I've been complaining a lot and Mom keeps asking me what's wrong. I say the same thing - I want to go back to where I used to live but she doesn't seem to understand. Humans seem to have very limited understanding sometimes! Anyway, I guess this place will be ok. The important thing is that my people are here: Mom, Jill & John and they still take care of me. I've been spending more time cuddling than I used to and they seem to like that. I'm thinking I better ease off though, I don't want to spoil them!
