Favorite Toy: Scooter loves all toys equally. Scooter loves to attack ankles. Scooter is mesmerized by his water fountain. He is also fascinated by the shower.

Favorite Food: NB Duck and pea canned and dry and California Natural Chicken and Rice
Skills: Scooter could make anyone fall in love with him. Making sure that everyone is paying attention. He must be worshiped at all times.

Arrival Story: "One cat leads to another." - Ernest Hemmingway. It is true! We had our Ragdoll boy Nikko for about 5 months, but he seemed lonely, so we went back to our breeder to find him a pal. (Truth be told, we probably wanted another Ragdoll as much as Nikko) One kitten remained. He was born with tear duct problems and had surgery on his eye when very young. He has a scar under his eye and needed a loving home. We met him and we fell in love and brought him home. After a few days of initial hissing and resistance, Nikko accepted Scooter and they have been the best of pals ever since, running through the house and playing constantly.
Bio: Scooter is a total sweety. He never meows! He beeps! He purrs alot. He is a bit of a devil at times. He does not like it when we watch tv or sleep and he is not the center of attention. He came to the house second, but is the boss. Of that there is no doubt. He gets into everything. He is not afraid of much. He never holds a grudge and I have never seem him get his feelings hurt. He is a true ragdoll in that he goes completely limp when held. You can hold him like a baby. He is floppy and loves affection, but hates kisses. He looks so insulted if we kiss him. He follows us everywhere and is not aloof at all. We love him dearly!

Well, kitties, you all know that, while I am a very loving boy, I don't like kisses. No sir! Kisses are icky! Give me a hug or pet me, but no smoochies.
I may have changed my mind, though. You see, we got a new kitty today. That's right, our best pal PanZy found out that there was a stray cat at The Cat in the Clover. You know. the ETSY shop run by Samoa's mom. Anyway, this stray is a German Princess and PanZy thought our house would be purrfect for her. Her name is Fräulein Prinzessin and she is a blue point with big blue eyes and eyelashes and jewels and a German Dirndl. She speaks German and I am smitten! I could learn to like smoochies from this Fräulein!
Nikko likes her too! She will fall for me, though! Oh, yes!
Thank you PanZy for making sure she found a home with us and thanks to Samoa's mom for rescuing her from the woods.
We will post pictures as soon as possible. Our new friend is a bit tired from the trip and all the excitement of her arrival!

No, I am not talking about the Rat Pack of Hollywood fame. I am talking about three catnip rats that arrived today from The Cat in the Clover! The day was going along like usual, then Daddy brought the mail in and said it looked like it was for Nikko and me. For us?? Really? We bounced around until Mommy would open our present and show us. It was a package of 3 lovely big rats filled with catnip!! Yipppeeeee! Pansy, one of our absolute Besties, sent the rats to play with us. She sent them for Easter!! She even sent one for Mommy. I think she felt like she should send one to Mommy too, because she keeps accidentally setting Mommy's hair on fire. (check out our vokis for the evidence.) Well, needless to say, we all love our rats, including Mommy! Mommy is high on nip right now, but when she sobers up we will have her take some pictures of our new rat pals!!

Scooter
I am so excited, I just have to tell you all about it! Samoa, the super pretty and well-dressed head of the Detective Agency, has declared me one of her 2009 Dreamboats. I know I am a handsome devil, but I didn't know Samoa noticed too. *flashes his blue eyes and flexes his muscles* Samoa is one smart Cookie!
Of course, I am so honored! She even likes my plumbing skills. Lately, I have been trying to work on the pedestal sink in the guest bathroom. Mommy didn't seem happy. Maybe Samoa could talk to Mommy and tell her it is good to have a plumber in the family. I like that Samoa is a career girl too. I admire a business woman.
Samoa, you made my day!! I might even come over and baby sit Newman so you can have some peace and quiet. MOL!!
