Black and White

Sleeping in mommy's bed, watching birds, chipmunks, and squirrels outside our windows, watching her "Cat Sitter" video, playing with her orange ball, picking on her sister and playing chase

Vaccuums, getting close to an open door, going outside, car rides, the vet, having her tail played with

Favorite Toy:
The orange ball, cat mat, crinkly balls, Cat Sitter Video, toy mice....anything really

Favorite Nap Spot:
My mommy's bed, a waterfall step thing, kitty house, and sometimes in a window

Favorite Food:

She communicates with actions....when she wanted her video turned on...she pushed the back of my leg and then went up to the t.v. screen and patted it with her paw-she does this whenever she wants anything

Arrival Story:
My daughter and I had wanted a cat for a long time, but with allergies, I was always worried to get one, and my husband was never a "cat person." This is VERY funny because now Cleo is his baby! I might have tricked him just a bit to get her. My daughter and I were at the humane society, and after seeing what a sweetie Cleo was, I called him, asking if he had thought about the cat request. After he said he was not going to be the one taking care of her, and he knew I would do what I wanted anyway, I handed the phone to my daughter who started shouting, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He stumbled with a few, " Ah, ah, I," then he said, "You're welcome." Cleo and he get along great, she talks to him when he gets up for work, as well as greets him when he gets home. He will play with her, and worries if she seems quiet, or sick in any way. As for allergies, as long as she gets her allergy wipe downs, and we keep everything vacuumed we are great.

Cleo was a stray, three year old cat. She is white with black /gray splotches. She is loving and friendly and loves to be pet behind her ear, on top of her head, under her chin, and on her lower back. She comes and checks up on everybody at night making sure they are okay. She is VERY playful, and cuddly. When it is cold, she will come and lay under blankets, and put her paws on us. It is really cute! Cleo passed away on 3/7/16 from bone has been a hard road, but she was a loyal and dedicated kitty. We love her and will miss her very much.

My Family:
It took me almost a whole year to warm up and really trust my family. Now I lay on my back and let them scratch my tummy! My mommy had cats while she was growing up, and love us. She knows how smart cats are! My mommy is a teacher for 3rd graders. My daddy was afraid of me at first-he saw my big fangs and thought I would use them to chew people up...hehehehe he knows better now. He fixes people's power, so us cats can have tv, lights, and running water fountains. My brother got taller and moved out to someplace called Florida. He is now married. My sister goes to some place called college. She is living in a place called a dorm. When mommy brought home a fur-sister for me, at first I wasn't happy because I thought mommy would love her more, but now I love her lots and lots because we can play and play! Well that is all about my family- I love them so much!

Hi Everyone,

I am pretty happy because the liquid medicine is working well....and tastes like CHICKEN!!! So I actually like it...and the treats mommy gives me after are nice too. I have gained some weight and am not pulling out my fur, so mom is happy. Mysty is also happy because I don't pounce on her as much...just a little.

Well the vet called mommy I went from a 5 to a 16 for my thyroid. Now I have to take LIQUID!!! NO MORE GEL!!! Mommy is afraid I will hide because I HATE things in my mouth. I will need it in the morning AND at night. Night isn't so bad because mommy has time to chase me around, but not in the morning.

She says if I will be good she will give me treats, but the last few times she tried to give me meds treats didn't even matter-I would just hide, so mommy said she is worried about me because I have lost 2 pounds already.

I don't mean to worry mommy, but I just hate meds, and I don't want to get them!!!!

Thanks for all you support and purrs!!!
