Both my pawrents change the lyrics to songs to make them about kitties.
I like those specific to me. Nelly Furtados, Turn Out The Lights now has a chorus of
Nonny Nonny Nonny Nonny Nonny, turn off the lights, turn off the lights….

2. Describe one thing your pet pawrent does that you think is REALLY LAME.
Mom has to make the bed when she gets up. I am settling in for my day long nap and she disturbs me. Extremely lame !!

Over the last few weeks, my sister and best friend Stripey has not been feeling well. Stripey has breast cancer. My Mom and Dad are devistated and are trying to cope with the news.
Daddy noticed a few weeks ago that she was losing weight and wasn't eating much. She would still come to breakfast. But quickly would turn and walk away. This was normal for her. She would always come back later. Her nickname is the liar because she would ask you to feed her and then walk away. They weren't sure at first if it was just Stripey being Stripey. But she lost that extra weight around her hips and they knew something was wrong.
Because she is so timid and doesn't let you pick her up, they never felt the lumps under her belly.
I am sad too. She is my best friend and I will miss her so much. Mom thinks she was born first. Because she cleans me and acts like a mother to me.
Mom and Dad have decided that they will not consider any extraordinary measures to prolong her life. She does not have the personality that would make prolonged and intense vet care easy on her or them.
We are asking our friends to keep her in their thoughts and prayers.

This morning, in honor of the Olympics..Buddy, Stripey and I had the “laying on our back, showing our belly competition”. I won the gold (he he, I always do!),
Stripey took the Silver, and Buddy the Bronze. Honestly, he had a lot of deductions, cause you could barely see his soft belly fur. MOL
