Orange Tabby

Playing with the other cats and running through the house, stalking Angel, jumping on counters, getting in the kitchen sink and bathtubs (especially when the water's on), being picked up and cuddled.

When Smokey and Angel won't play with her.

Favorite Toy:
Anything that isn't nailed down. She especially loves pulling her dry food out of the bowl and chasing it all over the kitchen, then eating it. She also has an affinity for plastic straws.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On a bed under the covers, the top of the couch.

Favorite Food:
Treats and tuna.

Cali was an expert at climbing the Christmas tree. Miraculously, it remained standing through the holidays.

Arrival Story:
Cali was adopted through a no-kill shelter when she was 7 weeks old and 1.5 pounds...she was so tiny that we had to pet her with just one finger.

Cali was the "wild child" of the family for the first few months...she was into EVERYTHING - it was like having a toddler in the house. She has since calmed down but is still very playful and active. She's a little bundle of love - pick her up, and her purr motor goes on.

Yesterday my sister Angel and I decided to get rid of the new water dispenser. I, of course, was the ringleader...Angel can be bossy sometimes, but our common bond is our love of wreaking havoc! Mommy bought the new dispenser to try and keep the floor dry, but we just can't resist a challenge - so when she wasn't around, we splashed the water out of the bowl until it was getting empty and then knocked it on its side and kicked it around some. It made a glorious mess...water was everywhere! Smokey took off when he saw what we were up to, but we stayed around so we could track water everywhere. Poor Mom was running late to work because she had to clean up first. We love her dearly but wow, she should have known better than to put that dispenser back down...of course, we did the same thing all over again. So now we have our old water dish back and will have to come up with new ways to have fun while Mom's at work.

I'm sooo rowdy tonight!

Well, I've been in the kitchen sink several times tonight, much to Mommy's dismay. My latest trick is to put my paw down the garbage disposal (once I fished a baby carrot out of there!), so Mommy now has to leave the stopper in all the time. Angel and Smokey are real party poopers...all they want to do is sleep, and I want to play! I am about to go skulking around to see if I can wreak a little more's so much fun - gotta keep Mommy on her toes. Tonight, she fished out a bunch of toys from underneath the furniture...of course, they'll be right back under there in no time, so it was kind of a waste of her time. We got a new bird feeder, and I've been having a blast watching the birds and squirrels...I wish I could go hunting outside, but I have to stay inside. I just took a break from my blog and went into the kitchen, where I proceeded to jump up on the counter and knock the dish drain contraption on the floor. Did that get Mommy's attention! Am I good or what? The best part is that I'm so cute, even when I'm bad!
