Today, my Mother was cooking chikin for lunch. You all know how much I LOVE chikin. So I was staying close by and letting her know I'd like a piece. Here's how the conversation went:
"Now, now now! *walk underfoot*
Arnold, it's not ready yet!
Now, now, now! *walk underfoot*
Arnold, you know I'll give you some when it's ready!
Now, now, now, now, NOW! **walk under foot*
ARNOLD! Shut up and get out of the way!"
Now I ask you. What kind of Mother tells an innocent little kit to shut up and get out of the way? I'll tell you what kind! A MEAN Mother!
Later, she kissed me and hugged me and said she was sorry, but you can't take stuff like that back...
*tears begin falling*

Arnie, you are not innocent!
You are full of mischief!!!! Awwww Arn, I think your mom was trying really hard to concentrate on cooking your chikin just right for you. If she's like my mama, a lot of times she can't carry on a conversation when she's trying to do something. Arnold when Mum's got something I want I wait for her to sit down with it on a plate. She sits in lounge chair so I get up on the arm of the chair and then put my face in her plate, Not only is it a lot safer but mum generally gives me some so I don't annoy her too much. Who cares about kissing and hugging . . . did she FEED you??? Well, did you get any chicken? Pee Ess: I DID get chikin... *wipes eyes* Buddy, the important thing is... did you get any chicken??? Words can wound but a good nibble of chicken can make up fur a lot! ;~)
*headbonks Arn, tries to steal his chicken* ...well that's weird... your post wasn't here when I posted my message even though you posted it hours ago.
Glad you got chikin!! At least she didn't do what my Mommy did when I was begging, um, Politely Asking, underfoot for food...she stepped on me!
Hope your Mommy gave you some of that wonderful chikin!!! Oh Arnold, don't cry! I'm sure your mom was just being blustery, and I'm sure she was cooking that chicken just for you.
