It took a week for my earthly body's remains to be returned to Mawmee and Daddy. Before I left for the bridge, the vet office had me pawtograph some white spongey stuff. It was a momento to be left with my family. My two pawprints are in a nice leather case and together with my ashes will all be put in a pretty box of some kind like all the other angels in our family.
I've been so busy since I got to the bridge. A lot of our pals have joined me recently, and we had to hurry and get ready for all the festivities yesterday.
It was my first birthday since arriving at the bridge. I became a teenager, and you wouldn't believe the party! The place was painted purple - all the rainbows turned purple for me, there were flags everywhere, and then the big fireworks display!
Those fireworks you all see on earth are started by us cats up here at the bridge. This year the 4th of July committee said I could light the first fuse that started it all.
Thank you to so many cats for all the love you've shown me and my family. While Mawmee and Daddy were so sad that I made my journey, they know that they didn't wait too late or send me too early, and for that reason, they feel at peace with their decision.
I noticed from the bridge a couple of days ago that Samoa got on the counter and licked some lettuce. I'm glad someone is going to take over my bad habits!
Thanks to my many angel and earth friends for making my birthday so special. Let's keep the party going all weekend long!
So glad you had such a wonderful birthday celebration at the Bridge. All the purple sounds really cool. The fireworks sound a little scary, but I bet they were extra pawsome from the Bridge. You have such pawsome pawrents.
Birthdays are so wonderfur, no matter where you get to catabrate them...and having one on the fourth is way cool indeed!
We bet the fireworks booms didn't scare you angels at all, like they might here on earth.
Purrs & Hugs!
PS: Purple was the main color of the Highschool where our unfurbros went...since this school wasn't in our regular district, we guess they did well in choosing purple!!
It was quite the Birthday Pawty fur you Violet. I don't think I have ever seen so much purple! And now you are an angel teen.
Glad your earthly remains and pawprints arrived safely home to your pawrents.
That was funny when you were spying on Samoa from the Bridge.
Oh yes the purple was everywhere and so pretty I must admit...cause I am about pink, but purple is pretty too...
We know your Mom & Dad are happy to have your remains and pawprint at home with them, it will give them peace to know you are there with them.
Oh if only our pawrents knew what we all see while looking our the earthly window from the RB...
Let's go and have more fun with continuing to party...
violet, i am so glad that you weren't scared and the pawty sounds like so much fun....my heart goes out to your pawrents during this time...having you near them will give them some comfort....
Violet, happy that you a had "what they call a time" at the bridge! You're sooo missed but happy you feel no more pain.
Hugs to your family
Samoa you didn't, it was a nice thought to say that Voilet is still with you
Glad you had a nice birthday!
Violet, I'm sure they would have had a purple party for you even if it wasn't your birthday. Say hey to all our friends there, and party on!

So sorry to read this. I hope you get to meet our angel sister, China, there over the Bridge. My little sister, Storm, is very ill and in the vet. I hope you will look for her if she has to cross the Bridge. It would help mommy and me to know she will have a friend there. Xoxo. Love, Misty
