Inky has been staying in our garage every night, and even during the day if it is raining.
He has been really good about using the litterbox out there, but he likes to kick the sand out, so Daddy found one of our old deep boxes in the basement, and he switched it out with the other one.
And then Daddy said to Mawmee, we have a big cuddle bed that Inky might like better than the bed you have out there. Mawmee had to smile inside because Daddy is really just a big softie even though we can't keep Inky. So, Inky now has two beds in the garage - one to cuddle in for extra warmth, and another one for chillaxin! We even have one of those things you heat up in the microwave that we could put in the bottom of the bed when it gets colder.
Mawmee always checks on Inky several times during the evening. Sometimes Inky runs right in the house. He isn't stupid! He has sniffed all of us except Samoa. Mawmee doesn't let him near her because we don't want her swatting at him. He doesn't get to stay inside, but he knows to go right to the front door so he can go out.
We sure wish we could find Inky a home. He is really super nice, and purrs like crazy. We'll keep asking our friends if anybody wants a good cat.
Sounds like Inky is getting pretty spoiled! Very nice of your family to keep him warm and fed during the winter.
Hoping that Inky finds a forever home. (or has he already?)
So nice of your Mom and Dad to help Inky out! I am like Zoey though, I hope he finds a forever home, but are you sure he don't have one already?, giggles!
Hugz and purrs, Sassy
