It's my first Mawmee's Day at the bridge, and I wasn't sure how we celebrate it. Last night when all us Catster pals were chillaxin at The Catster Club, Catsy went up to the microphone and told us the agenda for today. She is the chaircat of the Mom's Day Committee.

We had a big breakfast this morning, and cats took turns talking about what made their Mom special. You had to sign up ahead of time to speak, and I decided since it was my first year up here, I would wait until next year to sign up to talk.

Cole, Buddie, and Simba were a few of the cats that gushed about what a great Mom they had. I had to laugh when Buddie was talking about his Mom and when she first got him on Catster. He is a real comedian!

Then we all piled into the craft room, and we had to make cards for our Moms. My pal, Dude K., always sits with me in the craft room cause we like throwing beads and glitter at the girls! There is a ginormous bulletin board, and we all tacked our cards to it when we were done.

The Mother's Day Cloud Train leaves the station at 2:00 this afternoon. It's a little different than the Rainbow Ride we took on St. Patrick's Day. I think I heard Maggie Moo say she was going to ride up front with the conductor. Man, I want that job next year!

The Cloud Train takes us all across the country. Everycat has a window seat and there is a big box that sits next to us full of angel dust. Whenever you want, you can take a paw full and sprinkle it down to earth!

I can't wait to go . . . . . . . it's going to be so much fun. I heard they even serve treats on board!

Aw Calvin, that is so sweet what you all do at the bridge.
I hope you play with Angel Teiga sometimes. He is not on my catster page as it makes Mama cry just to look at his pictures still but Mama said she will make him a page soon. He is a big orange boy! He was with my Mama 13 years and this is my Mommie's first Mother's Day without him. I did not know him, but Mama talks about him. He went to the bridge 4 months ago. Mama adopted me 2 months later. She still misses and thinks about him very very much. If you see him, please tell him Mama lubs him and misses him and she hopes he is okay.

I'm so happy to hear about all the fun you have at the Bridge. You sure do keep busy. We really miss having you here with us but having you keep in touch the way you do makes it a little easier.

We love your stories Calvin! Momma doesn't get on the computer much these days, but whenever she gets a chance to peek at your page, she always gets a smile. Thanks Calvin for sharing some of the bridge secrets with my mommy. I tell her all the time that I'm ok here and that there are lots of activities to keep me busy but she still worries about me. :::sigh::: mothers! always worrying! aren't they?!
