I stopped by the Internet Cafe this morning and saw that I was a diary pick again! I think that Diary Gal has a crush on me. Thanks to all my pals who left me rosettes for both my diary honors this week!

The other day Mawmee was looking for something and she came across a little pill bottle that had Calvin written on it in black marker. Guess what was inside? Nope, it wasn't my ashes, it was my big giant tooth! She had forgotten all about it. She found a tiny yellow organza bag, and put the tooth inside. Then she put the organza bag inside my memory box that sits on the fireplace mantle.

My ashes are in a container inside the memory box. Lots of other cool stuff is in there too - my collar with my tags, a dried yellow rose, and a dried red rose that friends sent my family after I made my journey, a rainbow bridge poem on pretty vellum paper that my vet sent, a sweet bookmark, and a very special piece from Arnold P.'s Mom. She sent something from her Christmas village because it reminded her of me. It is a little girl playing with an orange cat. During the holidays Mawmee had it sitting on top of the box, but now it's inside the box.

And of course, my pictures are everywhere in the house, so no one is going to forget me anytime soon!

I was sitting next to Rocky Ann at the Internet Cafe today, and she was bragging about little Zack's first diary pick today. She is so proud of Zack and Zoey, and of course, she is so excited that they are in love with Hello Kitty too! Dang, those two are getting more beds and ginormous cat gyms to play on - what pawsome fun they are having in their new home!

Thanks to everyone who said they are going to purr for Queen Tallulah. She had a pretty rough day when she got her CT scan, but she is home resting now.

I gotta go - Flinders is celebrating her birthday today, and I'm in charge of decorating the Catster Club for her big party tonight! Scooter and Lola said they would help me!

Memory box? That sounds good. Mommy should think about getting one of those. She's got my pawprints, ashes, one scrapbook, one Shutterfly book, cards, and even a tuft of my fur she could put in it.

Hi Calvin! I wanted to say congrat's on your 2nd DDP....AND, I wanted to thank you for putting me on the committee for the St. Pat's decorations....I had a BLAST shredding those streamers! Can I get a few more boxes??? Then I can make confetti out of them to sprinkle on our families during our Rainbow Bridge St. Patrick's Day Bash!

Belated concats on your second DDP my angel furriend. Your memory box sounds like it is wonderpurr! I'm glad your mommy found your toofie to put in it. In the words of the great Spock, "you are, and always will be, my furriend." Well Spock might have actually said "friend" because Kirk wasn't that furry... but you get the point. ;~)
