When you've been at the bridge for three weeks like I have, the Committee Manager comes and asks if you want to be on a committee.
I decided that the Welcome Committee sounded like fun. Today was my first day on the job. I was given a big sign that had Catster written on it.
When a cat is making their journey to the bridge, and they are about to approach the gate, the rainbow flashes on and off. That is the signal for the Welcome Committee and all the angels to get in place.
When I saw the rainbow flashing, I grabbed my Catster sign and went to the main gate. There were other committee members holding signs too . . . . . I Can Has Cheezeburger, LOL Cats, Strays.
It was really crowded today, and I was looking to see if any Catster pals were coming through the gate. And then I saw her . . . . . Lola was Kung Fu dancing through the gate and getting her heart basket.
I waved my Catster sign and she came running over to meet me. I told her I really didn't want to see her, but since she was here, we were going to have a pawsome time until we see our families again one day!
And then Scooter and SooLing came by, and I knew Lola was going to be just fine.
Dang, she has the biggest blue eyes!
You take care of Lola, okay Calvin? Her parents are missing her something awful tonight.
Lola's eyes sure are some of the prettiest I've seen! You can see her whole world by looking into them. Well, actually I can see myself sometimes too ; >
We are missing you both tonight.

Wow, Calvin, it sure made me happy to know that when I go to the Rainbow Bridge or any of my siblings do that you will be there to welcome us. That will make it feel more like home and less lonely without our familIes.

Thanks for sharing some of the bridge secrets, Calvin. It makes me feel a little better when I think about my sister, you, Lola and other beloved friends and kitties who have crossed the bridge.

Calvin You were A Sweetheart here and Your still a Sweetheart at the Rainbow Bridge.
Calvin, you're perfect for the Catster Welcome Committee and I'm so glad you were there to greet Lola. I bet you'll soon be "In Charge" of other things at Rainbow Bridge, too, and I hope you'll continue to let everyone in on some of the secrets.
I remember you being very good at break dancing, Calvin, and I'm sure Lola would love to learn some of your moves. She's a quick learner.
Thanks for taking care of our good girl.
