Bird in the House!January 8th 2013 2:35 pm[ View A Comments (18) ]
It was naptime in our house. But, as H.o.H., I'm always on duty. So, when I saw a bird in the house, I knew I had to take action immediately.
Oh my. I thought the title said: "BRAT" in the house. *giggles* Now, if that birdie had seen MY beauty he would have passed away in a blissful swoon and awoken at the Birdie Bridge. He would NEVER have recovered as he did with you. Mwahaahaa!!! *giggles* He wasn't stunned, he was playing possum! How exciting! At least the birdie got away unharmed! Do you have a chimney? It could have gotten in that way unless you have a cover on it. A pigeon was stuck in ours for a few days until it worked its way down. My what adventures you have! When I was here upon the earth, meowmy & Pawppy had bats in our den...twice, OMC! My earthly furblings have not even had any birds, let alone bats...just bugs...boring...oh yes, we had a mousie a while back... Meowmy had starlings in her den a couple of times, before she got married, and since they came inside while she was sleeping (on night duty)...she about had a heart attack! Hope you are all recovered from the excitement! Purrs! A bird? Wow! Good thing it was naptime, your brothers may not have been so kind. Could it have come in by accident, like in a laundry basket or grocery bags? That's pretty exciting! The things I'd do to a bird in my house . . . A little birdie? OMC....I would have cried fur my mewomy or just stared it down like you did. Be careful purttyy gurl! Hugs Henry Oh Samoa! Your discretion and restraint and remarkable! I would have sunk my little teeth into its neck (drool drool) . . . sigh, I was a street cat for two years . . . how did your brothers not even wake up! Staring at the stove - does that mean you would like your bird cooked next time (MOL)! A Burd!! ((O_O)) Sounds like a day full of fun to me! We would have jumped it and let it go a few times to make for the Funnest Day Possible!!! I hope it happens to us!!! Exciting!! Way to go Samoa! Keep up the good work. You know "the Tabbies" would have loved this. They would have had a rant! I can just hear them now talking about the "stoo-pid burd". Made me stop and think about them and smile. Me too! They were HILARIOUS! Mmmmmmmm... Birdie! I do not think I would mind birdie guts on my face. I'm pretty sure mama would wash em off real quick. What an adventure! Way cool. Gunnarr T P.S. The birdie is kinda cute. I like that little birdie Samoa..Remember that time a little birdie flew in our house? He's a cute little wren! Keep up the good work! Gosh, how exciting and fun! We had a mouse in the house once, and Meowmy found me sitting with with him in the bathroom - I liked him because he was grey, like me MOL! She was able to pop him into a paper bag and take him outside so he could flee into the bushes - it's nice to have other species visit us in our homes, but the best PURRt is not that our Moms help them to get back outside again, unharmed. Yes, I'm a cat, but in our house we love all kinds of creatures - good job, Samoa! My brofur mades a typo, yesh - he meants to say the best PURRt ish that our Moms help them (he didn't mean to put a "not" in there) - he ish 17, so sometimes I hash to help him wif hish typing. I loves feathers, and I ish not sure I could have been ash good as yew wash, nopers. OMC how exciting and you could make Blackbird Pie! Glad you didn't kill your play toy and good job being on duty since the other 2 seem kind of, well, not who you want on duty, MOL. |
