It has come to my attention that I am now receiving comments on any diary that I have commented on.
I'm not saying that I don't care what others have to say regarding the diary I have already commented on, but as you can imagine, we already receive quite a few emails with comments on our own diary entries.
The newest improvement that I really like is being able to see the comment in the email rather than having to click and go to the diary comment area. However, I still have to do that if I want to see who left the comment.
Now, if we could combine all of the above and have this happen, I would be most appreciative - and I'm sure others would be too. After all, they are now receiving the gazillion comments on Calvin's diary entries, and I'm sure they are not too happy about it!
1. Give us the option in the Comment Preferences account area to either receive or not the additional comments on friends' diaries in which we have left a comment.
2. In addition to showing us the comment in our email, please let us know who left the comment.
Thank you so much for fixing this, and while you're at it, could you talk to Techno Cat about getting back our field height boxes which I hear disappear the next time changes are made. We have Halloween pages that will be put up soon, and we don't want to have our pages messed up because of this.

I may have to have an email address just for comments on comments notifications! MOL! Yeah, I should tell Mistress to set up a special Catster email account for diary, rosette, Daily Cat Tip and photo comment mails!
Great diary Samoa. I hope I see you on the front page tomorrow, or the DDP page. First, Samoa, you need the word "poop" in your diary so it's guaranteed to be picked.
As for the comments, we so agree with you. We have our email set up to automatically put all Catster mail in a separate folder, so it doesn't affect us as much, but not all email programs are able to do that! Concats (in advance) for being Diary of the Day!!! **giggles**

Ele' #1 Diary Gal, :) thanks for putting this into perspective! Being able to read the comment in the e-mail is a plus, however receiving an 'also commented' e-mail on every post we've made should be an option.
