Arrival Story: Hobo was found starving, looking for food at a garbage dump in 1990. The seagulls were attacking her so she was brought to our friends lake cabin nearby. When we came to the lake that weekend we met her. I realized how special she was and how much she needed a family. I put her in the truck without my husband knowing when it was time to leave. She slept most of the way home. She popped out from under the seat to look out the window so my husband got a big surprise. She has been part of the family since.
Bio: Hob is special and unique. She is not a lap cat however she loves to come to bed and purr and has slept beside me in bed everynight since we got her. I think she is the perfect cat. She eats anything that you give her. She loves riding in the car and likes to look out the window. She comes to a whistle. She loves to be in the noisiest room in the house. She never jumps onto places she isn't allowed. She doesn't meow very often. Friendly to all and is a pal to our dogs. Hobo is battling health problems as she is a senior cat. She is on medicine for her thyroid, kidney and bowels. Update: March 6, 2007. Hobo came into our lives at the age of three in 1990. She was provided the best life with us for another seventeen years. After a slow decline for the last few months she was ready to say goodbye today. She calmly passed away in my arms... lovingly cradled. Her presence will be forever in my heart.
