Captive in my own home

Dear comrades,

I have been trapped by my parents due to their insistance on rearranging my world each day to "renovate". I fear they are trying to rid themselves of me by walling me up in a cupboard before they transport us all to Texas.

My only solace is in playing with my mice which mother still has not figured out are a gift and insists on throwing them away each time I place one in her lap forcing me to retrieve it. This can and does go on for hours, sometimes with no apparent end. How dumb are these humans anyway?

First Vet Visit

Although this occurred two weeks ago, it has taken me a long time to get mellowed out enough to talk about it. Mom took us to the vet and thought she was going to leave me there. While Magic willingly got out and wondered around I stayed in the carrier until forcibly removed in order to ensure my return home. Overall, it was not too bad but I was not happy with the concept of leaving my home for any length of time. Who knows what could arrive without my knowledge if I am not there.

Also, how about some paws for my sister? I know she is a little simpleminded, but it hurt her feelings to see me with four and her with none. Kids!

Mystic

Daddy is gone away

Dear Diary,

Daddy went out of the house again this morning. I don't know where he goes but at least he always comes back. The issue is that I am now stuck with Mom, who is okay but not the best head rubber. I mean, she feeds me and cleans the litter box but she can't rub my ears just right. And I have not really trusted her since we came home and she took me out of the kennel. That really freaked me out and to this day (a long three weeks later) I do not want her to pick me up or try to pet me unless I am in the mood. And then just until Daddy gets home.

In solidarity,

Mystic
