This past week has been a rough one for all on the east coast with an earthquake on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd and hurricane "Irene" on Saturday/Sunday Aug. 27th-28th. We made it through these disasters and some weren't as lucky and blessed as we were. We're sending all our purrs and prayers to those who had it far much worse than we did.
Because of all the loud noisy winds howling and the "giant" shaking the earth, Mommy decided not to use the vacuum cleaner once during this whole week. She figured anymore loud scary noises would stress us out too much. Now, that's a good Mommy!!
Anyway, we've been having the calm after the storm since early yesterday afternoon; beautiful blue skies, low humidity, and pleasant breezes blowing about. The windows were opened for all of us to enjoy.
Purrs & Breeps,

Glad yous ok. Bail!!! And kinda surprised yous has power!! Seems like half of PG and AA don't!! ( Daddy says his work is out, by BWI)
We are happy to hear you all are OK....enjoy your beautiful quite day!
Thank you everycat for your concerns! We had no power for 7 hours! Seven hours to us was nothing as the "Snowmageddon" had us "powerless" for 24 hours. Isobel had us in the dark for 5 days! We are blessed this time around! As to a couple of our neighbors, they lost some trees. One of them fell on their house. Other people in other towns and other states had it far worse with floods and giant oaks falling on houses and power lines. We are very blessed :)
I wish my meowmy would never run Big Scarey Monster again. I'm glad your family made it through the hurricane just fine.
